Twenty years of yoga. Teaching around Tokyo, she had a child, looked again at the link between food and the body, and took the path into Chinese medicine and yakuzen. She earned the Kokusai Yakuzenshi qualification in 2016. She ties the sense of noticing where you are now, built through yoga, to the theory of Chinese medicine and brings it down into daily care. She continues to grow that care through planning and selling the yakuzen tea brand TOKIMUSUBI TEA and through teaching on the Yakuzencha Yojoshi® training course. Working from the idea of the unity of heaven and humanity, that nature and people are one continuous thing, she offers a way of living that stays alongside Japan's four seasons.
| 1 Recipe and menu development for companies | She has worked on recipe development with ingredient makers and drink brands. Her strength is keeping yakuzen theory as the foundation while translating it into a dish people actually want to make, at the family table or in a campaign. Reading what ingredients do and how the body is in that season, she shapes menus that fit a brand's world, right down to the balance of appearance, method and taste. |

| 2 Yakuzen and yoga courses and workshops | Drawing on experience both teaching yoga and teaching yakuzen, she runs yakuzen-and-yoga lessons where you learn seasonal care while moving your body. The axis is respecting the wisdom of the classics while tying it back to daily care you can keep up in life today. Moving between theory and practice, she conveys it carefully, so that people notice the state of their own mind and body and bring small changes into how they eat and how they spend their days. |
| 3 Writing, supervision and publishing | Drawing on a feel for presentation built up in editing, she takes on writing and supervising articles that bring yakuzen gently to readers. Her strength is breaking down technical terms and shaping an angle the reader wants to try that same day. Hoping that the wisdom of yakuzen will take root in daily life as it has in Taiwan, she spreads hints for children and women in particular to live well, through columns and courses. |
Recipe development for California Prunes, a collaboration recipe with Suntory Kinmugi, work for NHK: she has put her knowledge of yakuzen and recipes to work with food and drink brands and in the media. Supported by a committed following built through her yoga classes and yakuzen tea classes, she has widened her work with both the planning ability built up in editing and the ability to stand up and communicate.
